Sunny Home holds sensitive things — invoices, warranties, documents, photos. Here’s our plain-English promise on how we look after them.
You own your home's memory
Everything you send Sunny belongs to you. You can see all of it, download a complete copy any time, and delete any of it — a single item, or your whole home and account — whenever you like, for good.
Private by default
Nothing in your home's memory is ever public. It's visible only to you and the people you choose to invite into your household — and within a shared home, you can keep any individual item private to just you. We never sell it, never share it, and never use it for advertising.
Your data never trains AI
Sunny uses a commercial AI service that does not train its models on your information. Your documents and notes are only read for a moment to answer your request, then forgotten — they never become part of any AI model.
Sunny owns the memory; the AI just helps
Your information lives in Sunny's own private, encrypted storage — not 'inside' an AI. The AI only ever sees a small slice of it, briefly, to answer you. We could change the AI behind the scenes and your data would never move.
We never mix households
One home's memory is never used to answer a question about another. Every request is locked to your home. Your files open only through your logged-in account, never a public link.
Built on trust, not data-harvesting
Most home tech is busy collecting data about your home. Sunny's whole purpose is to be the trusted memory of your home — so protecting it isn't a feature, it's the point.
🔐 The Vault — for your most sensitive things
Alarm codes, identity documents, safe combinations — the things you’d never jot in a note. The Vault is a separately PIN-locked space inside Sunny: its contents stay hidden everywhere else until you unlock them with your PIN, so even someone who reached your account can’t see them. It’s live now — set a Vault PIN any time from inside Sunny.
